Scalable and secure infrastructure, tailored to your needs

SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service)

instead of open source, we use SaaS (Software as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) as the basis for our projects. This ensures optimal performance at easily calculable costs, offers the highest level of security and is the basis for high scalability of your projects.

Amazon Web Services (PaaS)

For hosting, all systems used by Lochmüller.MEDIA use Amazon Web Services (AWS), the leading international provider in cloud computing. AWS has powerful data centres worldwide, including in Frankfurt/Main, where our projects are also hosted. International corporations such as Netflix, Adobe, Bayer, Siemens and GE rely on AWS services. Amazon also wants to operate its infrastructure with 100 per cent renewable energy in the long term and has now achieved 50 per cent of this goal.

PlatformOS (PaaS)

Which platform does the microchip pioneer Intel use for its Entwickler-Social-Netzwork Developer Mesh and the logistics group DB Schenker for its upcoming online portal? Well-known systems such as Joomla or Drupal cannot handle these projects; the companies are therefore relying on the following for their Web 3.0 application PlatformOS. PlatformOS is PaaS, also Platform-as-a-Service, and has all the capabilities built in to meet any need out-of-the-box - whether for local businesses or multinational corporations. PlatformOS is headless, natively supports GraphQL and is ready to bring your internet application to any device beyond the PC and laptop - be it mobile or stationary apps, IoT or voice-enabled systems.

As a Platform OS partner, we have virtually no limits in the development of web-based applications.

SiteGlide CMS (SaaS)

Siteglide is built on the Platform OS PaaS infrastructure. With the Adobe Business Catalyst-like admin, it offers a quick way to build sites from simple landing pages to complex e-commerce applications. Instances on Siteglide are also Platform OS instances and can therefore use the full potential of pOS at any time. Our partnership with Siteglide allows us to build online projects for medium and larger businesses, ranging from simple landing pages to complex marketplaces.

Shopify (SaaS)

Shopify is the market leader in SaaS-based e-commerce solutions. The Canadian company was founded in 2006 by German Tobias Lütke. Worldwide, around 400,000 companies were already using Shopify in 2016; by now, this number is likely to be much higher. The version for large companies, Shopify Plus, is used among others by Tesla used. Shopify is not as adaptable as Treepl CMS or pOS and is also significantly more expensive for higher sales, but has the most options for connecting to other popular platforms. We therefore recommend Shopify to customers who need a standard shop whose products are also to be offered on Amazon or Walmart, for example.

Platforms in transition

Nothing is changing as much as the internet. That's why we are always involved in promising web projects as beta testers and evaluate new concepts for our clients. Currently, lochmüller.MEDIA is involved in the beta phase of BlueberryCMS. The service is scheduled to launch in early 2019 and will integrate other services such as project management and content delivery in addition to hosting, CMS and email marketing.

We are also evaluating GraphCMS for our customers, a system which, like PlatformOS, is headless and uses the new data query language GraphQL and was developed in Gießen - where lochmüller.MEDIA is also based.
